The first is a talk by Mahua Moitra on Vende Mataram, which the BJP hoped to use as a political weapon against the opposition and the Muslims. It shows how poorly the BJP understood the song and its history. She is a member of Parliament and an elected representative of the Trinamul Congress (TMC).
