A young boy from the village is now an Associate with Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance company. Mohammed Patel is a young boy from Barbodhan Village in Surat district who completed his 12th and was looking for a job to support his family financially. Very few from his village were even 10th pass and among all, he was rejected as he was more educated than them.
His friends use to tease him that he would not get a job of even Rs.1,500/-. His father is not being able to earn much due to health issues, the entire responsibilities to run the family was on Mohammed’s shoulders.
He joined Saksham during this tough time of his life. Looking his behaviour, etiquettes and skills, the counsellor guided him to opt for Telecom course. “He had been the sincerest and hardworking student of the batch,” said the trainer. He hardly missed any session in-spite of his father was being admitted in ICU during his training period.
The day when he nailed the interview at Kotak and was selected for a job offer of Rs.10,000/-, he could not stop his tears.
“I have no words to express my feelings today. All the boys from my village who teased me those day are now coming to me to seek guidance.
