Bhawna Choursiya lack of skills was hindering her ambitions.

Bhawna, a resident of Kawai, belongs to a middle-class family. In spite of being well educated, she wasn’t skilled in any particular field. Her lack of skills was hindering her ambitions of having a successful career. So, she attended a meeting organised by the Adani Skill Development Centre in Kawai and come to know about the different courses offered by it. After discussing with her family, she called to ASDC and got registered for the Beauty & Wellness course. She was highly punctual and attentive during the course.

After completing the course, Bhawna started a small beauty parlour at her home. After two months, her first earning was of Rs. 3,200 by offering beauty services for a marriage. This gave her a lot of confidence and gradually her monthly income started rising by providing beauty services at her home and home visits.

Bhawna is grateful to ASDC for giving her this opportunity to turn her life around. Today, she is inspiring and encouraging other adolescent girls and women within the community to step out of their homes and attend courses such as those offered by ASDC as this will help them to develop their potential and carve a bright future for themselves.
