Josephy from Muduparavila Street in Vizhinjam Village where 60% of her area is comprised of fishermen’s family.
She comes from a lower class family. After hearing the Orientation class of Digital Literacy by ASDC, Vizhinjam in her Street and hearing the Orientation class of Digital Literacy by ASDC.
After the successful completion of the programme she expressed her sincere gratitude to ASDC for making her knowledgeable in online platforms, she also shared her learnings as follows.
- The basic parts of the computer and the function of each part.
- How to on and off the computer.
- How to type a document in a computer and how to edit the documents.
- Learned about internet banking and how to transfer money from her account to others account.
- Paid her electricity bill and water bill through online mode.
- She learned how to login to a Gmail account.
- She installed the Digi locker application in her phone
- She came to know about social media platforms such as twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook.
- She also learnt the surfing skills.
