Karan, one of the talented students of Adani Skill Development Centre in Vadaj, is eager to share the story of his journey to success in order to inspire others. His message to others like him is that they should not sit idle and wait for an opportunity. Instead, they should create opportunities for themselves by attending courses like those offered by ASDC.
When he joined the Assistant Electrician course, his trainer was highly impressed by the knowledge Karan had and felt that it just needed to be polished a little bit. Karan was regular and attentive in class and loved to do practical work. His interest in wiring and soldering supplemented his learning.
He also gained knowledge about the technicalities and other features of the job. When asked about his training experience, he says, “Life at ASDC has been a beautiful memory for me not just because of the outstanding training but also because of the environment and culture at ASDC. It makes us feel that we are in a different world”. He says that the centre has a good lab with electrical appliances where students can learn and explore the things. Moreover, he made many friends during the course.
After the course, Karan got placed at Pandav Electronics with a handsome salary. He is proud to be independent and to have secured the future of his family. He enjoys his work, and his employer is impressed with his positive attitude and zeal. Karan’s technical as well as soft skills give him the edge. The soft skills training provided at ASDC enhances the participants’ employability and helps them to shine in the workplace.
