Darshna Mistry is supplementing her family’s income.

Darshna Mistry, a resident of Nava Vadaj, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, as completed the Beauty and Wellness training at the Adani Skill Development Centre. Today, she is supplementing her family’s income by offering beauty treatments from home. Her initiative and enterprise have helped her to gain the respect of her neighbours and community members.

In order to inspire others by sharing her story, Darshna says, “My life before joining this course was very different. I still remember how shy and introverted I was before coming here. I live in KK Nagar in Ghatlodiya, Ahmedabad.

She adds, “It’s only because of Saksham and Prerna madam that I am quite confident today and can learn with an open mind. I became part of ASDC, Vadaj, as an assistant trainer after completing my course in the second batch. I am quite happy to help other women like me by training them and enabling them to earn a livelihood. I truly believe that destiny and hard work go hand in hand. I feel blessed to work with ASDC, and I am determined to keep up the good work and achieve success.”
