12 weeks of Skills Training gave Vishal the confidence and the skill-set to work in the construction sector.
Vishal hails from a small town that comes under the district Bhandara but due to lack of formal education, experienced qualifications forced him to take up farming wherein he assisted his father and his siblings in making ends meet.
Vishal enrolled at Adani Skill Development Centre, Tiroda for training after attending a local mobilization camp in his village. However, the twelve weeks of Skills Training gave him confidence and the skill-set to work in the construction sector. The combination of classroom teaching and practical learning has helped him to develop his future career prospects.
After his training, he landed to a job with Supreme Treon Pvt. Ltd, Pune and earns a monthly salary of Rs.9500/-.
Apart from the specialist domain knowledge and IT/soft skills, Vishal says “the training has helped him to tackle his problems analytically which have in turn refined his decision-making skills.” He further adds that financial stability and a regular income have helped him bring his family much-needed comfort where he is able to not only support his parents but also to pay for his siblings’ school fees and other related expenses.
