Bhumeshwar Kolhare’s belief in ‘decisions determine one’s destiny’ changed his life.

The old saying ‘decisions determine one’s destiny’ has been proven true by Bhumeshwar Gyaniram Kolhare. Upon facing failure, many students give up the education and fulfilling their dreams. Sometimes, they even slip into depression. But this was not the case of Bhumeshwar who has set an example with his persistence to achieve his dreams. During mobilisation activity, he came to know that, he was eligible for the Welding Technician course conducted by Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC), Tiroda, under the tribal project in 2017.

He grabbed the opportunity and completed course with 100 percent attendance and got placed as a Welder in Ajayant Enterprises at Silvassa (Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli) with a monthly income of Rs. 13,000 in September 2017. At this job, he had to work in 12-hour shifts per day. A year later, he got an even better opportunity! He was offered a job at KEC International Buttibori, Nagpur, with a monthly income of Rs. 18,000. Speaking about his experiences at ASDC, Bhumeshwar says, “One should never give up their studies because of failure or hardship. I feel failure helps us to climb the ladder of success.

I am thankful to Saksham and the ASDC team in Tirora as well as my trainer Thawkar Sir, for their kind support”. With his persistent diligence to realise his dreams, Bhumeshwar has successfully set an example for unemployed youth in the country.
