Minakshi Kumari gained self confidence with the skills that she learnt from ASDC.

Minakshi Kumari, a 21 years old, resident of Motia Village, Godda district comes from a farming family living with her parents with six siblings. Her aim in life was to become a Police officer one day.

With the limited source of income generated by the family, Minakshi happened to join The Adani Skill Development Centre at her village in 2017. During her training program on Tailoring at the Udyamita Kendra (Skill Development centre, Motia), she picked up this life skill of stitching.

By the end of the training course, she outshined the rest and established herself as the most talented girl in the centre. “I never knew how good I am. But I gave my 100% and believe that nothing is small or big to generate an income. Since I am the eldest among the siblings, I wanted to prove to my family that I can also contribute in my family income. I was totally dedicated while learning this life skill. I am so fortunate to be part of the centre that I can even achieve bigger things in life centre”, shares the confident Minakshi Kumari.
